DESCRIPTION

The Barksdales formed in the summer of 2012 with guitarist Nate Eaton from The Drunkyard Boys and Drummer Mikey T from Switch 86. After finding a suitable bass player the The Barksdales began writing music in the vein of their greatest punk and rock ‘n’ roll influences. They hit Buffalo, NY stages as a punk rock power trio for the next 2 years.
In late 2014 The Barksdales added a second guitarist to the band, Nick Marz from Avaeya. In the summer of 2015 Mike B from Thru The Wire was brought in to takeover on bass Guitar.
In its current and most potent line up The Barksdales music takes the attitude and rebellion of traditional punk rock and blends it with raw driving guitar laden, good old fashion rock ‘n’ roll.
The Barksdales live act is known for it’s energy and aggression. They take the stage holding no quarter, and in return expect none from their fans. They blend huge driving drums and bass with an almost obnoxious amount of rock guitar. They play fast, they play hard, and they will never do it any other way.
The Barksdales first EP “In Our Hands” comes out in the fall of 2015, It will be followed by a full length album in early 2016.
