It’s been 20 years since Alabama 3 started crafting the bones of their first baby – Exile On Coldharbour Lane and here comes our 14th album. They celebrate 20 years with a brand new album “Blues” which is set for release in September ahead of their UK & Ireland Tour, which makes a stop off at The Academy, Dublin November 12th.
Blues is the titled brand new album on their independent label Hostage Music. Recorded with the full band in Dean Street Studios, they have essentially made a straight up Rock’n’Roll record full of chain gang clarion calls, bittersweet dope laments, sleazy whiskey rhythms, whaling harmonicas and the obligatory Delta slide.
They’re finally ready to take this record on the road, as well as celebrating 20 years of the songs that have kept us in good company for two decades.
Here we will commence an 11-date tour of the UK and Ireland
