Bruce Springsteen has just announced two Paris dates for The River Tour.

The announcement of the River tour follows the release of The Ties That Bind: The River Collection,” a comprehensive look at the era of the 1980 “The River” album that “Rolling Stone” calls “Springsteen’s best archival release yet.” The Ties That Bind: The River Collection is available at Amazon and iTunes.

This was the record where I was trying to find out where I fit in,” Springsteen said of The River during the tour’s opening night, Jan. 16 in Pittsburgh. “I wanted to make a record that was big enough that it felt like life — or like an E Street Band show.”

Bruce Springsteen has released more than 20 albums and achieved several hit singles such as Born in the USA, The River, Streets of Philadelphia, I'm On Fire, Dancing in the Dark. He is also known for his legendary live performances.

Ticket sales start March 9 at 10 AM local time.
