Grammy-Award winning musician, Eric Johnson, is one of the world’s most-revered guitarists. His unique style of playing, which consists of chord melodies and fast licks, along with his violin-like guitar tone have made Johnson stand out as one of the guitar greats.
Johnson quickly ascended the guitar pantheon and now is recognized as among the instrument's top virtuosos, a living legend who's a member of Guitar Player's Gallery of Greats and was included in the 100 Greatest Guitarists of the 20th Century selected by Musician magazine.
Eric Johnson is a member of that small group of players sometimes referred to as guitarists' guitarists. That's why he was tapped by Eric Clapton to play his Crossroads Guitar Festival and continues to perform on the Experience Hendrix Tours. There aren’t many players out there who garner as much respect from their peers as Eric Johnson. Be it for tone, technique, or phrasing, he’s an absolute legend in his own right - making this show truly one for the guitar freaks out there.
