Pedrito Martinez and his Grammy-nominated group have been in residency since the club opened it's doors in November of 2014. Pedrito learned his craft on the streets of Havana and since settling in the NYC area in 1998 has been the recipient of many awards, including the Thelonius Monk Award, The Sphinx Award, and Jazz Journalist’s Percussionist of the Year, for 2014 and 2015.
Pedrito has contributed to over 100 albums and has performed or recorded with Wynton Marsalis, Ruben Blades, Paquito D’Rivera, Paul Simon, James Taylor, and Bruce Springsteen, to name a few. The Pedrito Martinez Group's first album was nominated for a Grammy in 2014.
