Infloyd performs Roger Waters' masterpiece Amused to Death live
In 2014 the Dutch tribute band Infloyd had a world premiere with live performances of Roger Waters' Amused to Death in theatres, halls and clubs across the Netherlands. The show received acclaim from audiences as well as from the press. In the 2016-2017 season Infloyd take this show to Britain, in response to many requests.
The 1992 album Amused to Death is seen by many as a masterpiece, not least by Roger Waters himself. He told the BBC in an interview that he regarded this album along with Dark Side of the Moon as his best work. The quality of the music and the production have been hailed as outstanding, while its theme - the influence of mass media on our way of thinking - is more relevant and urgent than ever. 2015 saw the release of a remixed and remastered edition.
Roger Waters himself has never given a live performance of Amused to Death in its entirety. This makes Infloyd's show a real treat for every music lover and a must-see for the true Pink Floyd and Roger Waters fans.
Apart from Amused to Death, Infloyd's show also includes a complete live performance of Dark Side of the Moon. This classic album is probably the most influential, inspiring and successful LP in the history of rock. It is part of more than 50 million connoisseur record collections around the world.
Add another handful of Pink Floyd classics and it will be clear that the nearly three-hour Infloyd show is an intense experience of music, images, light and special effects. With their distinctive sound and feel they manage to enrapture the audience every time.
