OUTPUT Grayscale is an exploration of the deepest shades of Techno found along the formative industrial-dub axis of the genre. Colorless yet rich with texture and complexity, OUTPUT Grayscale is programmed to go from Zero to 140 BPM in Ten hours. The extended format journey begins at 8pm with a presentation of left field DJs and seminal producers performing live sets taking Output’s famed Funktion One system for a ride into the nether realms of ambient and experimental soundscapes. Thoughtful multimedia light and video installations designed to accentuate Output’s singular architecture accompany the sonic offerings, setting the OUTPUT Grayscale experience apart from the club’s usual modus operandi. As the clock strikes 12, a steady beat emerges from deep within the aural haze. Phase two of the evening's program invites the world’s most highly regarded practitioners to unleash a persistent maelstrom of thickly layered rhythms on a dance floor primed for action.
