Following the viral success of his Stranger Things Mixtape - and quarter of a million plays on Soundcloud - DJ Yoda is taking his Eighties pop-culture nostalgia mix on tour. Featuring favourites from 1983 (when Stranger Things is set) and laced with samples from the Netflix original series, expect Dolly Parton, Toto, Jeffersons Airplane, The Clash, Joy Division and Foreigner mixed with dialogue from Chief Hopper, Eleven, Jonathan and Nancy. Kontroversi
Kontroversi is an electrofunk duo based in Cambridge UK. They are Mr Margaret Scratcher (Mark Sutton) on keyboards, synthesizers drum machines , and Lionclub (Leonardo Robarts) on guitar and lead vocals.
Having known each other for many years through the music scene, they recently decided to collaborate to produce their own unique sound which they have dubbed 'Cadillac Funk'.
Imagine Prince, Parliament, New Order and Jamiroquai taking a road trip across the galaxy in a '59 Cadillac and you're halfway there...
