SoSure Music + Friends:
Amine Edge & DANCE
Man Without A Clue
Danism + Train
London label SoSure Music rolls out its wares at Egg Presents with a selection of guests covering the house spectrum.
French duo Amine Edge & DANCE shot to fame off the back of their G-house sound, mixing their hip-hop roots with the low end groove of bassy house. Breaking through thanks to a touch for transforming well known tracks into universal dance floor movers, as with their take on Frank Ocean's 'Lost' and the Notorious B.I.G-sampling 'Going To Heaven With The Goodie-Goodies', they're since built an extended crew and global following thanks to their own CUFF label.
Part of Def Mix Music, alongside the sadly departed 'Godfather of House' Frankie Knuckles and protege David Morales, Hector Romero has similarly deep roots in house music, beginning to DJ block parties aged just 13. This led from playing classic '90s New York clubs such as Palladium, The Roxy and The Red Zone to becoming David Morales' official opening DJ. Since then he's kept the sound of true NYC house music flying, working behind the scenes at both Def Mix and for Satoshi Tomiie's SAW Recordings.
Dutch producer Man Without A Clue has a name which is thick with irony. Having collaborated with Todd Terry, Kenny Dope and Roger Sanchez, he's clearly got his finger on the pulse of classic house. Defected, Dopewax and UNDR THE RADR all agree, having snapped up his recent tracks.
Joining them all are SoSure artists Danism + Train and Hollis Parker.
