When it comes to fusing styles, Crosa Rosa excel ahead of their contemporaries with relative ease. Drenched in feedback and psychedelic noodling, the trio also exude with the demeanor of whimsical slackers , a scrum of scruffy haircuts and slouched shoulders - an intriguing combination - Gigwise (The best bands playing Reading + Leeds' Introducing Stage.
Nottingham three-piece Cross Rosa were only conceived just over a year ago, yet already they've made their presence felt among the city's live music scene. Fusing elements of halcyon era Sub Pop (Superfuzz Bigmuff/Bleach, you get the drift) with psychedelic surges akin to early Spacemen 3 or more recently The Wytches, their new self produced EP Pantophobia is one of the most exciting releases out there at the minute. - Drowned in Sound
Whacky, fuzzed-up garage noise redolent of '70s strangeness, with the odd big hammer blow, they're definitely worth keeping an eye on - Kerrang!
This grunge psych three-piece have been making waves around Nottingham for a few months now. Insomnichord are a psychedelic rock band birthed from the glittering depths of Ganesha's cosmic echo chamber. They fuse fuzzy choruses with mind-warping synths and take influences from the classic psych sound of the 60s and 70s along with modern artists such as Tame Impala, Miley Cyrus, and The Simpsons. Insomnichord will take you to another dimension and back again so buckle up and hold onto your panties.

Umi are fresh Bristol saplings, with their first release 'Sap Man' coming out on Breakfast Records' 'Breakfast 2' compilation later this month. With an affinity for melody driven garage and surfy fun, their songs are lively and playful with certain asymmetric tendencies. Each of their songs are carefully crafted artefacts overflowing with varied and colourful concepts.
