DESCRIPTION
Clay are a four piece formed in Leeds, and are re-inventing the modern perception of a 'band'. Incorporating electronic, hip hop and pop music - they create a sound that manages to be simultaneously timeless, yet era-defining. Having only three songs publicly available 'Sun Dance', 'Oxygen' and 'Stay Calm!', the band have generated sensational hype and have sold out their own shows in various cities across the UK.
They have also attained significant support on BBC Radio 1 with plays from Zane Lowe, Huw Stephens and Phil Taggart as well as BBC Introducing support which led to them sub-headlining the BBC Introducing Stage at Leeds & Reading Festivals. The band have also been playlist on XFM/Radio X Evening Playlist and have been 'Shock Of The New' twice. Another highlight has been having their track 'Sun Dance' broadcast on primetime american TV series 'Ballers' starring 'Dwayne Johnson'.
