Scott & Charlene’s Wedding’s Craig Dermody is the voice of a generation, it just so happens to be a generation mired in dead end jobs while smiling into the sunshine as they wonder when someone is going to show up and call the cops on the party again.
Robert Sotelo:
5 piece unit attempting to emulate recent solo recordings by Robert Sotelo. Featuring members of Death of Pop, Flemmings and ex-Poino/Buttonhead, with Sotelo himself on loan from Joya, the live incarnation extends and builds on a set of songs designed for a forthcoming long-player entitled ‘Cusp’ and looks to later Beatles, Robert Wyatt & Stereolab as reference points.
