As we approach the end of the Jackathon, Heidi is joined by supergroup Tuff City Kids, formed by German electronic music legends, Philip Lauer and Gerd Janson. This production duo have a slew of house releases on Real Soon, Separe Recordings and Punkt Music as well as remixes for labels like Output Recordings, Rekids, Careless, Spectral and Sonar Kollektiv. Their perfectly executed DJ sets are deadly package of beefcake house music which never disappoint.
Finishing off the bill for the night is Honey Dijon, an icon that blends the distinct sound of Chicago house with inflections of the deep New York City underground. Through her inspiration and influence from Derrick Carter and Danny Tenaglia, she's able to seamlessly mix genres while simultaneously injecting style and panache that's essentially her own. Sonically bridging scenes, cities and eras, Honey Dijon is a truly unique DJ that we can't wait to have back at XOYO.
With Grainger on warm up duties, music is sure to be of the highest calibre from start to finish.
