Formed by brothers Will and Matt Ritson, Formation have delivered ferocious performances as guests to Foals, Happy Mondays and Jagwar Ma, and have also left an indelible impression following festival sets including Glastonbury, Field Day and Way Out West. They’re set to tour in support of their album release in March with a series of dates which includes two headline shows in Hamburg and Berlin. Inspired by artists as diverse as Sly and the Family Stone, John Maus, Fugazi, David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Herbie Hancock, Theo Parrish, Beastie Boys, Pantera and Ornette Coleman, FORMATION have built a cult following as well as exponential critical acclaim including a nomination for Best Newcomer at the NME Awards.
