Sunday Shorts gives voice to contemporary fiction by authors from all over the world by presenting select pieces of short stories read by people from our very own community. Our December reading features three stories that invite us to reconsider topics we thought we already knew something about. Doors at 5:00pm with readings starting shortly after. $5.
Miss Adele Amidst the Corsets, by Zadie Smith examines the difficulties that come with buying new undergarments.
Dreamed in Stone, by Norwegian author Jon Fosse takes a closer look at the unexpectedly slow moving long term effects of an avalanche.
Finally Seth Fried gives us insight into the first job held by Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden in his new story The Helpmeet.
