We Are Scientists are back after a successful UK tour promoting the outstanding album ‘Helter Seltzer’, The band themselves describe the album as more effervescent than they have ever managed to deliver, but they've still maintained a measure of that ‘Helter Skelter’ element — no matter how fizzy and refreshing the tunes are, they've always got a bit of that seamy, scuzzy, 'cult on Spahn Ranch' vibe. They therefore consider this album, as a vessel of both sweet pop tunes and seltzer outreach. Looking back at what We Are Scientists did for music in the early part of the 00s and continue to do to this day, we felt it was a simple choice asking them to play our big end of year party. We Are Scientists will be treating us to a full back catalogue of songs from the incredible With Love And Squalor from 2005 right up to 2016’s Helter Seltzer
