Greendoorstore Presents & The Glass Collectors :

The Wholls

(Wolz) are a Bedford-based 4 piece who play alternative rock music for venues packed with manic fans, with a sound that sits equally as comfortably on mainstream radio along with the likes of Jamie T, Royal Blood and Foals. Their energetic & edgy live performances have steadily been building them a legion of loyal fans and frontman Tordy is fast garnering a reputation as an electrifying presence on stage.

“The Wholls are being touted as the sound of 2016…Debut single X21 is indie rock with a light dash of dub, and is the culmination of two years’ worth of BBC Introducing and Battle of the Bands-type attention. - The Guardian

“Supported by BBC Introducing, this is a big record by a band called The Wholls.” - Huw Stephens, Radio 1

“Camden remains a fervent breeding ground that will inevitably spew up many more next big things……….I’ve been blown away by The Wholls.” - NME

“The Wholls…destined to become the biggest band the UK has produced for years” - BBC Introducing

SISTERAY

London based indie/garage four-piece and they are rocking. December 2015 saw them sell out their first headline London show and with the results of recent studio sessions with producer Rory Attwell (The Vaccines/Palma Violets) in the can, a new double 'A' side single 'A Wise Man Says' / 'Back To Yours' was released early 2016.

Gnarly... sounds like the golden age of 2000s UK indie (Phil Taggart, BBC Radio 1)

Punk rockers causing a buzz in their native London, sold out shows aplenty, and with a Rory Attwell (The Vaccines/Palma Violets) produced EP in the can and due for release soon, expect that to swell (Fred Perry Subculture)

The Barratts
create the ‘classic Indie’ energetic Vox-driven sound, meeting the groove of the Stone Roses, with a dash of clean-cut Strokes and Circa Waves. Their debut EP launch ‘Open Wounds and Windows’ was a sell out.

During my time covering local music in and around Northampton one of the bands that have always stayed with me are The Barratts. Song writing is something that is clearly abundantly natural with Jimmy, Kyle and co as they make it seem effortless… they deliver an amalgamation of youthful and melodic tracks that doff their cap to the likes of The Smiths and Stone Roses, keeping it as relevant as ever. The Barratts are a well read The Strypes, to give you an idea. Alternatively, get on their Soundcloud, The Barratts track 'Penny Dreadful' will haunt you (for all the right reasons) for the rest of the week.
- Jimmy Bowman, The Glass Collectors.
