DESCRIPTION
Well-Known Strangers have been entertaining Midwest audiences with their cello infused, alternative pop/rock, with-a-tinge-of-country, band sound. Members Joe Adamek (acoustic guitar), Betsy Ade (vocals, guitar, mandolin), Sacia Jerome (cello, background vocals), Theodore Koth (lead guitar, background vocals) Roger Gower (drums/percussion) and John Kulas (bass guitar) have been busy touring radio stations around the country to support their single Splinter which has been climbing the Triple A Mediabase and BDS charts. These stations include Triple M in Madison, 88Nine Radio Milwaukee, Lighting 100 in Nashville, WBSD in Burlington, WDEC in Decorah, IA, KFMG in Des Moines, IA, and humbled by the face the single is spinning on many others.
Together, the band members have an amazing mix of musical knowledge and education that provides a unique sound that is reminiscent of familiar of music from the 90s while being expressively groundbreaking and melodically rich.
