CONTROL at Avalon invites Falcons, Hoodboi, Kittens, and Promnite, to the iconic stage for an Athletixx Takeover and another memorable night in Hollywood.
Los Angeles DJ / Producer Falcons made his mark in the music industry with his groovy blend of R&B, Hip Hop, and dance music. After releasing his Terra EP on Fool’s Gold Records, Falcons earned himself a well-respected reputation in the scene, receiving massive amounts of attention from outlets including The Fader, XXL Mag, Mass Appeal, and Complex. Since then, Falcons has continued to gain momentum, racking up over 1 million plays on recent hits like “I Won’t Lie” released earlier this year on Fool’s Gold Records. Currently tearing up stages across North America, Asia, Europe, and Australia, Falcons returns to his home of LA this Friday for a night at CONTROL not to be missed.
Roger Schami, better known as Hoodboi, has earned himself an incredible fan base in his hometown Los Angeles. Following breakthrough exposure in 2014 with a slew of 90’s throwback remixes, Hoodboi began collaborating with popular DJs like Lido, Djemba Djemba, Sweater Beats, Allison Wonderland, and DJ Sliink. In 2015, he became the co-founder of Athletixx, a DJ crew consisting of himself, Falcons, Promnite, and Kittens. Since then, Hoodboi has been consistently turning out hit productions, including his recent Fool’s Gold release “Closer” that has amassed over 524,000 plays on SoundCloud.
Los Angeles leading lady Kittens possesses an undeniable passion for music and a deep desire to see the party pulse on into the wee hours of the night. A treasured member of the Athletixx family, Kittens can be seen blending a wide array of heavy rap with low grinding electronic and future beats music. With her funky style, sass, and finesse, Kittens has made countless “Top Female DJ” lists and cemented her status as a force to be reckoned with.
Originally hailing from New York, Athletixx member Promnite has earned a reputation for remixing today`s popular hip-hop songs into danceable, heavy trap tunes. Promnite’s recent remix of “Nothing But Space” by Keys N Krates has been steadily climbing charts and making it’s way into DJ sets across the nation.
