Sinkane
You might have seen Brooklyn’s Ahmed Gallab before without even realising. He’s played with the likes of Yeasayer, Caribou, and Of Montreal. But it’s under his solo moniker of Sinkane that Gallab has really found his stride.
2014 album Mean Love was released to massive critical applause including a full five stars from The Guardian, and his self-described feel good music is certianly having the desired effect.
If you want to dance to grooving basslines, scattered Afro-inflected percussion, and the kind of vocal lines that could instill vibes into the stoniest of hearts, make sure you get a ticket for this show. We guarantee you’ll leave with a sunbeam smile.
