Back for it's 2nd year, the Grow Village Fete is about being together, having a good time and raising money for charity!
Raising funds for The Centre for Better Health, on sale we'll have freshly baked bread by one of their projects, the Bikery Bakery, amazing cakes donated by Hackney Wick locals, Canababes Food Co Ltd., and have-a-go village fete games! On sale, will also be plants from Growing Concerns, a community garden centre just down the canal on Wick Lane.
Slow Fire London will be putting on a BBQ with meat and veg options smoked in an old converted ambulance, served with crunchy slaws and punchy salads!
Come canal side in Hackney Wick for good times and good vibes!
About Grow, Hackney
Carved out of what was once a sausage factory, Grow has been transformed into a unique bar, kitchen and creative space. Hidden in a yard in the heart of Hackney Wick and backing onto the canal, it was built by a small team and is operating as an experiment in ethical and sustainable business. It's a space for music, art, conversation, community and good food where everyone is welcome. www.GrowHackney.co.uk
Our address is Grow, Hackney, 98C Main Yard, Wallis Road, Hackney Wick, E9 5LN. Just two minutes walk from Hackney Wick Overground (exit station onto Wallis Road, follow all the way round) and 10 minutes walk from Stratford.
