Ingrid Michaelson has announced the 26-city “Hell No Tour” in support of her sixth studio album, “It Doesn’t Have to Make Sense,” which will be available for iTunes pre-order Friday, June 24 and released on August 26 via her own Cabin 24 Records/RED. The nationwide fall tour will feature special guests AJR and kick off October 8 at The Fillmore in Detroit and make stops throughout the country, including the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, The Theatre at Los Angeles’ Ace Hotel and Beacon Theatre in her hometown of New York City.
Earlier this month the pop star kicked off the release of her defiant new single --which after several weeks as a most-added track, sits just outside Top 20 at Hot AC radio chart-- with a rousing performance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Not one to take herself too seriously, Michaelson gets playful in the music video for the empowering new single. Using Snapchat’s Lens feature over the course of one month, the pop star created a unique music video produced entirely with the wildly popular communication and entertainment app. The video is already over 750,000 YouTube views: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4tefnQGtNY
