CADENZA is a space for music to grow, rise and blossom. It is an accessible platform created to receive new people, projects and their influences. By continously searching and progressing, we are a part of the evolution. We are all spiritual people, free as our music, and we live for that reason. Cadenza Records was started in 2003 by Luciano and Quenum in Switzerland, releasing minimal techno and house with an organic and improvised feel.
MICHEL CLEIS has come a long way since releasing his super-distinctive smash hit ‘La Mezcla’ back in 2009. One of the bona fide anthems of that summer and an Ibiza staple to this day, it stands as a testament to Michel’s undeniable musical talent. Now a globally established DJ/producer with a slew of acclaimed productions to his name, his eclectic and diverse taste for melodies and warm grooves has lead him to collaborate with some of the biggest artists in the industry and to craft a unique style embracing several influences and backgrounds. www.soundcloud.com/michel-cleis
MIRKO LOKO's passion for music has led him on an upward trajectory ever since he first started DJing in the late ‘90s clubs of Lausanne. Based at the crossroads between Detroit-inspired techno and the stripped-down-yet-jacked-up side of house, his music is that of diversity and subtlety. It’s high-class yet low-slung, a hypnotic collage sewn together by shifting layers of darkness and light. Mirko’s impressive discography has spanned such labels as Cocoon, Border Community, Wagon Repair, Planet E, Desolat, and Visionquest. This is not to mention his collaborative work with Detroit’s Stacey Pullen, and his remixes of everyone from Martina Topley-Bird (Massive Attack) to Layo & Bushwacka. Our resident dj TOFKE started djing 27 years ago at underground parties back in 1989 when he was only 15 years old. He was Belgium’s youngest dj in the very first after club in Belgium called The Globe. Soon he played all over Europe in clubs like Warehouse Cologne, E-Werk Berlin, La Luna in Marseille, Rex in Paris and raves likes Mayday and Love Parade in Berlin with dj’s like Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, Jack de Marseille and Richie Hawtin to name a few. www.soundcloud.com/deejaytofke
