The London African Gospel Choir present: A Rendition of Paul Simon's Classic Album: Graceland.

Due to phenomenal demand - with four shows at The Jazz Cafe all selling out - we have decided to add a fifth date of this re-imagining of Paul Simon's Graceland, this time at XOYO.

Thirty years after Paul Simon released Graceland, The Jazz Cafe Choir, backed by live musicians, will perform his album live from start to finish.

After coming across a bootleg cassette of South African township music, Simon travelled to Johannesburg and spent two weeks recording with South African musicians. That session formed the basis of Paul Simon's most commercially successful album, which effortlessly blends pop, rock, zydeco and mbaqanga.

The London African Gospel Choir's re-imagining will take us from smash synth driven You Can Call Me Al to haunting acapella Zulu folk song Homeless and everything in between.
